Workshop and Short Course Materials
Learning Materials,
Modules, Resources
The educational resources focus on introducing learners to high-precision GPS data, how to obtain the data in numerical or graphic format, interpreting the data, and making predictions based on this data. They provide instructors and students with experience with GPS data from a variety of deformation processes such as tectonic plate motion, plate motion near a subduction zone (ETS), rebound after an earthquake, deformation due to volcanic activity. Together these resources are targeted to both secondary and lower undergraduate faculty and contribute toward creating learning modules for Earth Science secondary education classrooms, undergraduate general education courses, and geophysics majors.
